How does it work?

The Technology (And Yes, It's Really Real):

VICETINT uses PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) film – the same proven technology in Boeing 787 windows and luxury car sunroofs. This isn't new tech; we've just made it affordable for regular cars.

How PDLC Film Works:

Millions of microscopic liquid crystal droplets are suspended inside the film. When electricity flows through them, they align to let light pass (clear mode). Cut the power, and they scatter randomly, blocking light (dark mode).

Your Control System:


  • Power: Connects to your car's ACC circuit (draws less power than a dome light)

  • Remote: Wireless control, 30-foot range, fits on your keychain

  • Switching Speed: 2–3 seconds from dark to clear or vice versa

7 Adjustable Levels:

From completely clear to maximum dark, you control exactly how much privacy and light blocking you want. Adjust on the fly with your remote – find the perfect balance for any situation.

Installation:

The film connects to your car's power through accessory (ACC) power source inside your door panel that supplies switched 12V power to door-related electronics.

When your car is on, the system is ready. When your car is off, the film holds its last setting using minimal battery power (less than a car alarm).

Traditional tint is just dyed film – one darkness forever.

How do I install it?

  1. Open the door panel
    Remove the Door Panel.
  2. Measure & cut the Smart Tint Film
    Measure the glass size, cut the film to fit, and apply it the same way as normal tint.
  3. Connect the power wire
    Run the Smart Tint wire inside the door and connect it to the vehicle’s ACC power supply through the Smart Tint inverter.
  4. Place the inverter inside the door
    Secure the inverter neatly inside the door panel so nothing moves or rattles.
  5. Reinstall the door panel
    Snap the door panel back into place, tighten the screws, and test the tint.
